Philanthropy is something you read about in school. It’s something that sounds noble and kind and just out of reach for most everyday people. With Midlands Gives, however, philanthropy is accessible to everyone! Yes, even you! Today is the day that YOU can make a difference in the life of someone in our community. You can be a philanthropist and help any of the almost 500 nonprofits in need of help this year. So many nonprofits rely on their own fundraising efforts to help those in our community, and what better way to give back than to help these nonprofits offer assistance to even more people in need this year!
How can I become a philanthropist?
Ten dollars is all it takes to be a philanthropist – giving back to those in need has never been so easy! And you can watch your donations work hard with thousands of other donations in real time to see the impact YOU are making in our community. We were able to give back this year with a promotional video that the Central Carolina Community Foundation is able to use to remind philanthropists, like you, that today is the day! Today is the Day of Giving! And what better way to spend a day than to give back – however that looks to you.
Whether you give financially or you find a nonprofit that can use a volunteer like you – today’s the day to start giving back. With almost 500 nonprofits in need, there’s no shortage of places that can use your help. You always hear the phrase “Be the change you want to see in the world.” Why not start today? There’s no amount of help too big or too small. Whatever your philanthropic interest, there’s a nonprofit in need that YOU can be the change for today.
