Camp Cole — Summer Camp Experience

A 7-minute glimpse into what a summer at Camp Cole is all about. There's just no way to get to the end of this film without tears in your eyes.

The Challenge 01

A Bold
Vision.
Real
Obstacles.

Camp Cole began with a powerful mission — but also the formidable challenges that come with building something meaningful from scratch.

Kelsey and Margaret set out to create a fully accessible camp designed for children with serious medical conditions and disabilities. The cause was undeniable. But turning that cause into a funded, credible, community-supported organization required more than passion alone.

  • Limited initial visibility and credibility as a new organization
  • A complex mission and facility concept that needed clear, compelling communication
  • Fundraising requirements for specialized, medical-capable infrastructure
  • The need to build broad community awareness and donor engagement from zero

They needed a way to clearly communicate their story — and inspire supporters at scale. That's where the Blueprint came in.

The Blueprint Approach 02

Using the Blueprint model developed by As Told By Agency, Camp Cole implemented a three-part strategy to amplify mission-driven storytelling — from building the narrative foundation all the way to measuring real-world impact.

Step 01
The Foundation
Build the Story

A professionally produced impact video captured the mission, vision, and human story behind Camp Cole — creating a single powerful asset that worked everywhere at once.

  • Email signature lines
  • Social media channels
  • Website & newsletters
  • Donor communications
Step 02
The Framework
Activate the Audience

The video was placed in front of live audiences at every opportunity — turning each gathering into a credibility-building moment for the mission.

  • Speaking engagements
  • Community presentations
  • Rotary Club meetings
  • Fundraising events
  • Partner organization gatherings
Step 03
The Roof
Measure the Impact

Clear KPIs were established before launch. Analytics tracked what mattered — ensuring the strategy produced measurable results, not just visibility.

  • Video views & engagement
  • Audience reach at live events
  • Donor interest & conversions
  • Growth in supporters & partnerships
The Impact 03

Today, Camp Cole has become a major resource for families and organizations serving children with serious illnesses and disabilities — operating a fully accessible campus that accommodates medical needs while delivering a genuine camp experience.

🏕️
A Fully Accessible Campus

From medical-capable infrastructure to adaptive programming, Camp Cole now operates a campus built to serve campers no other facility could accommodate.

🤝
Community Mobilization

Strategic storytelling activated donors, community leaders, and partner organizations who rallied behind the mission once they could truly see and feel what Camp Cole represented.

📣
Expanded Awareness

The Blueprint approach scaled the founders' voices well beyond every room they could personally enter — placing the story in front of audiences across the region.

📈
Fundraising Momentum

With a compelling, consistent narrative in place, donor conversations shifted from explaining the concept to closing support — shortening the credibility gap dramatically.
